On April 20, 2000, an idea was suggested, in the Animation Artist Voices of Animation forum, that Animation Artist readers get together to collaborate on an animation project. 

Soon after, it was enthusiastically decided upon to help create a 26-second public service announcement for UNICEF's Cartoons for Children's Rights Campaign.  This collaborative animation commercial will be distributed by UNICEF to 156 of their field offices around the world, for inclusion in December's International Children's Day of Broadcast.

The purpose of this Website is twofold:

1) It serves as a window for the Animation Artist community to follow the making of the short film.

2) It serves as an online depot for the contributing members to post, review, and access their materials, as needed.
