B1 Media Grabs 2006 DVD Award for ?Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire

(August 11, 2006) B1 Media has won ?Major Technical - Best Menu Design for "Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire" at the 9th Annual DVD Awards. The ?Harry Potter DVD, from Warner Home Video, topped all other entries with six nominations.
The interactive DVD menus boasted a 3D castle, a fully animated fire-breathing dragon and an amazingly rich view of the entire ?Goblet world.
?Were honored that this award recognized the elaborate and expressive 3D achievement and strong sense of design the menus displayed, said B1 Producer, John C. Pohl.  ?The artistic excellence of these menus contributed to an incredible DVD experience and was a result of the sacrifice that our 3D, compositing, animation and design teams made.
     Menus were designed and produced by B1s creative team, which included: Producer, John C. Pohl; Art Director, Linda Kim and Creative Director, Brian Metcalf.  Brian Johnson and Cynthia Helmer Chylinski served as Executive Producers on the title.
The Warner creative staff included: John Richards, VP Creative Services; Ardis Rubenstein, VP Worldwide Creative Advertising; Beth Wetzel, Creative Director and Donnie Roache, Director of DVD Operations.
