MPAA Rating: Not Yet Rated (G expected)

Description: Spirit is an animated film told from the viewpoint of a horse named Spirit. While the horse can’t talk, you do hear his thoughts (like in the Garfield shows). The story first introduces Spirit in the freedom of the wild, only to have him caught by the cavalry and trained to be a war horse.

Crew Talent:

  • Max Howard - Producer
  • Lorna Cook - Director
  • Kelly Asbury - Director
  • John Fusco - Writer of Spirit

Tips:

(August 11, 1999) Crew Talent was added. Also, our thanks to “AnimationRules14” for providing some additional details about Spirit.

(February 2, 2000) “Spirit will not have the traditional screen size, but i was told that it is going to be shown at a "panoramic view", which means that it will be shown with a wider screen.” ~ by K

(March 4, 2000) In addition to Max Howard, Mirielle Soria (Ever After) is also producing "Spirit". Also, the current, official title is "Spirit: Stallion of the Cimarron". Gene Hackman has been cast as a villainous Cavalry Colonel. The film will be released in fall 2001. ~ by Goblin
