Description:
Wishes come true in Rugrats in Paris - The Movie, and love makes
its way into the hearts of those young, old and overseas. Chuckie's
dad Chas starts dating again, and it's Chuckie's wish to find
a new mom. When Stu Pickles is summoned to Reptarland, an amazing
new amusement park in Paris, to work on his Reptar invention,
Tommy, Chuckie, Angelica, Lil, Phil, Baby Dil, Didi and the whole
gang tag along to the city of romance. But the Rugrats' big adventure
turns out to be more than glamour, fashion and smelly cheese.
Chuckie learns that when it comes to princesses and potential
mommies, things are not always what they seem, and for Chas, finding
the right woman can be difficult in any language. As the Rugrats'
travels take them from the Eiffel Tower to Notre Dame and everywhere
in between, the world's favorite babies learn new lessons about
courage, loyalty, trust and above all, true love.

USAnimation(r) is Klasky Csupo's Number One Pick to Produce
Rugrats In Paris: The Movie
USAnimation(r) played an instrumental role in the commercial
success of The Rugrats Movie. No wonder Klasky Csupo selected
USAnimation(r) as their number one software to produce Rugrats
In Paris:The Movie.
Toon Boom Technologies is proud to announce that Klasky Csupo
has selected USAnimation(r) as their number one software to produce
Rugrats in Paris: The Movie, the sequel of the 1998 blockbuster
The Rugrats Movie. Terry Thoren, President and CEO of Klasky Csupo,
has nothing but praise for USAnimation(r). "We couldn't have done
it without USAnimation(r). The benefits of this software package
are so huge that we wouldn't consider any other way to produce
animated movies. Actually, during the production of the Rugrats
in Paris, USAnimation(r)'s creativity, quality and cost effectiveness
confirmed again that our technological choice is the best one."
Rugrats in Paris: The Movie is produced by Klasky Csupo, in conjunction
with Nickelodeon Movies and distributed by Paramount Pictures.
Toon Boom's flagship product, USAnimation(r) V5, is the most popular
animation suite in the 2D cartoon animation market. The secret
of its success is the power and flexibility it gives animators,
allowing them to create programming for direct export to television,
film and the Internet. The V5 release includes several key features,
including output to Macromedia(r) Flash(, multi-format rendering,
and interactive, real-time, multi-layer 3D Scene Planning.
(February 3,
2000) The release date was updated to Thanksgiving 2000 (thanks
to The Animation Ranger).
(February
3, 2000) Nickelodeon is going forward with Rugrats in Paris after
the astronomical success The Rugrats Movie enjoyed this year,
making just over $90 million. The sequel has been greenlighted
(March 29,
2000) “The movie will have a love theme as Chuckie will be the
featured character. Apparently, Chuckie's father is looking for
a new someone in the city of Paris.” A teaser trailer has already
been out since December on Nickelodeon's web site. Click here
to see the trailer. A new female Rugrat will be introduced in
the film. See the image below, she is the dark haired toddler
sipping a drink with Chuckie. The band group 98 degrees will be
doing the theme song for the second movie. ~Tips by Quentin
