Description:
Digimon (Digital Monsters) are not to be outdone by Pokemon (Pocket
Monsters) to be splashed upon the big screen. Digimon is based
on Toei Animation theatrical shorts from Japan, and has been rated
the number-one show on Fox Kids TV. Now in Digimon: The Movie
the internet becomes a battlefield for the DigiDestined and their
Digimon companions. A brand new Digimon hatches and starts to
consume data at an expotential rate growing into it’s mega form,
Diabormon. It theatens the whole world and the world communications
when it prepares to launch missiles from the U.S. to Japan. Time
is running out and it’s up to the combined forces of a world-wide
network of kids and there digimons to stop it.

If you are new to Digimon and their Digiworld here’s a quick run
down on the story and characters... The Story It all started last
summer (1999) on TV when US audience followed the adventures of
seven kids at summer camp who became mysteriously transported
to a digital world called Digiworld. There they each met and bonded
to a digital creature known as a Digimon. Destined to be with
digimon forever the kids become known as a group called the DigiDestined.
Together with their digimon companions they help save Digiworld
from evil digimons.
