Beavis and Butthead: Another Movie

Opens: On Hold (possibly permanent hold)

Company: MTV Productions

MPAA Rating: Not Yet Rated (PG-13 expected)

Description: MTV had a great success with the Beavis and Butthead Do America movie, making a sequel a given. Little is know about Beavis and Butthead: Another Movie, except that it is being very daring by opening up just one week after Star Wars: Episode 1. Don’t expect much in the area of quality animation.

Tips:

(February 4, 1999) A well placed source has told Animation Artist magazine that Beavis and Butthead: Another Movie won´t make it into theaters this year! Animation Artist magazine is in the process of getting a confirmation or denial from MTV on this tip.

(April 16, 1999) We have confirmation now from the above tip. Thanks to “The Animation Ranger” for getting ahold of some inside information that confirms that Beavis and Butthead 2 is on an extensive (and possibly permanent) hold. It is now possible that the project may never be completed.

(February 3, 2000) We’ve received further word that this film has been cancelled, versus on hold, and will not be coming out. The producers/animators have all moved on to other jobs.
