(February 7, 1999) Alias|Wavefront, a subsidiary of Silicon Graphics, Inc., recently announced Maya Complete, a new animation and effects solution that incorporates all the tools and features professional digital content creators need to produce animation and visual effects on Windows NTO or Silicon GraphicsO IRIXO workstations.

Maya Complete includes Alias|Wavefront's award-winning 3D modeling, rendering, and animation technology, an explosive Maya F/X particles system with integrated soft-body dynamics, and innovative Maya Artisan tools for sculpting and modeling with a brush. Maya Complete has a SRP of $7,500 (US) and is the most powerful and complete, integrated solution for digital artists and animators on the market today.

Maya Complete covers new ground by making state-of-the-art technology accessible to the broader professional market; allowing users to incorporate the same sophisticated tools currently used by high-end film production houses.
